Yasuragi is no ordinary spa hotel. Bask in the warmth of our indoor and outdoor Japanese hot spring baths, pamper yourself with soothing spa treatments, relaxing activities and delicious food. Enjoy the peace and harmony of Japan, right here in Sweden.
The Yasuragi concept
Yasuragi is Japanese for inner peace and harmony, which is what the Yasuragi concept is all about. Bathing has been an important part of Japanese culture for thousands of years. It soothes the body and calms the mind. Drawing inspiration from Japanese simplicity, we've created a place where you can relax and clear your mind, so that you can return home revitalised and re-energised.
How to book
Spa days and overnight stays should be booked online at yasuragi.se/en/. To book a bonus night at the hotel, please contact us by phone or via email.
The Yasuragi is cash-free, which ensures added security for our guests and visitors. More information about this can be found under FAQs.
All of the rooms at Yasuragi have been inspired by Japanese aesthetics, but some are more Japanese than others. Our largest suite, Ryokan Hanare, has its very own private Japanese hot spring pool, a sauna and a large terrace. It also has an outdoor Jacuzzi, with stunning views of the Stockholm archipelago. Back in 2012, we built 27 completely new hotel rooms, all beautifully designed by White architects.
Visit our Japanese baths and experience a traditional Japanese ablution (cleansing) ritual, relax in one of our hot springs, cleansing rooms, steam and classic saunas. There's also a tranquil lounge area next to the baths, where we serve tea and fruit. We highly recommend you to try something from our rawfood bar if you're feeling peckish.
Entry to the baths
As an overnight guest, you can book a package that includes access to the Japanese baths and our activities when you make your reservation. We also have a selection of day packages for non-guests.
The yukata – what you'll be wearing
Just like in Japan, you'll receive a yukata (cotton bath robe) when you arrive, which you will wear at all times, so you don't need to think about what clothes to bring to the hotel! Our yukatas are dark blue with white Japanese symbols: fuku, which means luck and happiness, and kotobuki, which means true joy. The yukata is yours to keep, as a souvenir of your stay here at Yasuragi.
Pamper yourself with a spa treatment while you're here. We have treatments for everybody, including Japanese massage or shiatsu and facial treatments. We recommend you to book your treatment when you make your hotel reservation.
We have a daily timetable that lists all of our activities, such as meditation and yoga. Most of the activities are included in your stay and you don't need to make a reservation.
Food and beverages
Food for all the senses. We have four different restaurants for you to choose between here at Yasuragi, and our sake bar boasts the longest sake menu in Sweden.
Meetings and conferences
A meeting at Yasuragi is all about people, the bigger picture and the environment. We'll help you find what's right for you. Find out more about our conference and event options here.
The Japanese garden
Experience the perfect combination of Japanese garden principles and the Swedish archipelago. Our serenity garden stretches all the way down to the water's edge. Enjoy a tranquil walk or rest for a while on one of the benches and just breathe.
You must be at least 16 years old to visit Yasuragi. Visitors of all ages are welcome to Yasuragi Kids during the summer.
The hotel is located about 19 km from Stockholm Central Station. You can read more about Stockholm here.
