I asked a wuestions from the guests, whereas Iwanted to wind down, and they sat there in the outdoor poils, having semi-loud conversations about their work, their renovation and about other people. I asked them ”What’s the point, to travel to a quiet spa, and then sit here chatting with each other?”. The answer was ”well, everyone else are talking too”. And ”we want to socialise as well”. I do not understand. There are people who really need the break, winding down, and relax. The last thing I want then is to listen to someone elses job-stories. Yasuragi has lost the touch. If they won’t get the quiet and calm culture reinstated they will loose their unique selling proposition and might just as well become a nice and fancy swimming hall. I would say it out loud to each guest. The service was great, the food was delicious and the grounds are simply beautiful. We didn’t get the tranquility at all though.

Idea about silent Japanese spa with total silence and relaxation did sound inviting, but unfortunayely some other guest did not respect this recommendation and therefore ruined this experience. Staff could be around in spa area and make loud guests aware about the request of silence.

A very nice and beautiful experience. It does what it says, enables you to wind down, relax and recharge. Beautiful calm surroundings, a large variety of spa pools and saunas, and relax areas. High quality food and beautiful rooms with stunning views.

I went with a friend, and we had a lovely time. There is a wide variety of activities available, including dry and steam sauna, cold springs for the brave, a bubble pool, outdoor hot springs and a silent lounge that was perfect for relaxation. We participated in a yoga pass that we enjoyed. Lunch included in our package was nice, and fruit and tea was available throughout the day. The total ban on mobile phone was particularly welcome. The only disadvantage was that the venue is almost impossible to get to without a car, and taxi was far too expensive. However, we knew this when booking so it wasn't a surprise.

If you a looking for a quick and easy, perfect hideaway near Stockholm in the most beautiful Scandinavian nature setting combined with a Japanese style spa, where you can truly relax and get away from everyday stress and all the hectic of modern and digital life, you have come to the right place. It's best to stay two nights, so you have time to try out all the many (quiet and calm) activities on offer. We had a nice dinner included in our package, the food was really good, and also lunch on the next day, which was even better - probably the best sushi I have ever had. Loved it. The rooms small and minimalistic, but had all one needs. We booked room without a TV, and it added to the "digital detox" charm (mobile phones are not permitted around the hotel, not everyone stuck to it though). The spa was nice, and had various pools and baths. We loved the hot baths outside with spectacular sea views of the Stockholm archipelago and surrounding nature. They also cater for day spa guests, so the spa was a bit crowded during the day, and at times not so peaceful and quiet, but perfect in the evening. Various spa treatments were offered at extra cost, and they were very good and most relaxing. Complimentary tea and fruits available at the spa. Service was always polite and friendly. Loved the concept overall, and felt energized after just one day. Perfect for short breaks, can recommend this for 1-2 day stays.
