Start the evening at Teatro wine bar

There’s nothing quite like a bottle of fine wine. If you want to impress your colleagues, friends or perhaps a date with your unsurpassed wine knowledge, we recommend that you head to the well-stocked Teatro vinbar at elegant Hotel Christiania Teater. There’s something special with authentic hotel bars – they have a touch of Hollywood nostalgia. And they always bring a pinch of excitement; at hotels you meet people from all over the world, looking to make new acquaintances.

Dance until the sun goes up in Strøget-passasjen

Strøget is a small alley between Torggata and Storgata right in the city centre. As soon as you enter the alley, it reveals itself as some kind of nightlife Mecca. This is where you should bring your colleagues after a couple of drinks and when you’re ready to hit the dance floor! Choose between fun and trendy clubs like Angst, Uhørt and Karusell – but expect to stand in line for a little while. Most joints around Strøget are open until 3:00 am.

Enjoy great conversations at Himkok

If Strøget gets too busy you can continue on to Himkok, only a couple of metres away. This club is a must if you are in Oslo! Here are both pumping dancefloor, covered al-fresco areas and even a barber shop if you feel like you need a grooming when you’re out and about!

Himkok has been recognised internationally for their drinks and cocktails and has been crowned Norway’s and Oslo’s best bar on numerous occasions. They even make their own alcohol!

Fed up with the bars in the city centre? Check out Grünerløkka!

If you and your colleagues want to see another side of the city, you should head over to Grünerløkka – Oslo’s leading outdoor district. Furthest down in “Løkka”, only 10 minutes’ walk from Jernbanetorget, you find Nedre Løkka cocktailbar og lounge. Here you can enjoy delectable cocktails in quaint and nostalgic surroundings. Free from the minimalistic thinking that is otherwise so typical for many of the clubs and bars in the area.
