Very ordinay hotel room and boring breakfast

The hotel room was very basic. No refrigarator. No safe to keep your valubles in the room. Bed linens were too short so you could see the old mattresses underneath, which does not exactly help to make the experience better. The selection and quality of the breakfast was at its very basic and therefore diappointing. Breads were dry and very limited and boring selction of cold cuts. No danish and no croissants. Fruits e.g. apples, grapes and grapefruit slices were absolutly way far from being fresh. When thinking of the high price of the stay and what you get for your money, I guess you can find better hotel with better overall experience unless you want to stay as closest to Globen or Tele2 Arena as possible.

Typical lackluster Nordic Choice property

I needed to stay a night in the area and made the terrible mistake of booking Quality Globe, thinking that it might be okay. Boy, was I wrong. As a Nordic Choice elite member I was given a corner room on the 10th floor roughly of the same size and standard as my closet at home. The main difference perhaps being that is was significantly colder than my closet, even with the heat turned all the way up. It might actually have been the coldest hotel room I’ve stayed in, and that’s saying a lot when you’ve spent a fair deal of nights in freezing Nordic Choice and Scandic properties. When we asked for a space heater, we were told that no were available - unacceptable. Indifferent service, a cheap looking and somewhat poorly cleaned bathroom, an uncomfortable bed, a TV with no channels (or chromecast or HDMi cable) and a downright disgusting balcony with no furniture … the list goes on and on. As always in Sweden (where hotel standards resemble those of the old Eastern block), no bottled water, shared toiletries, too few towels, nasty pillows and a shower that flooded the bathroom floor. Not to mention a crowded, unsanitary breakfast mess in the morning. Or the outrageously overpriced dinner options. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. The next time I need a room in Sthlm not adjacent to ARN, I’ll go with the only decent choices - Hilton or Marriott, and I would HIGHLY recommend you to do the same. It will cost a bit more, but boy is it worth it. Avoid this dump (and, honestly, most other Nordic Choice properties) like the plague.

Very happy with the stay at Quality hotel Globe. Friendly staff on the phone (asking for a bath tub in the room before arrival), friendly staff at check in and bar, play corner for kids in the lobby, great location (close to Ica, metro station and small shopping center) and a very spacious room (rare in Stockholm).

We originally had planned to stay at this hotel for 6 nights after driving 6 hours from Oslo with a 4 month old baby. However, our stay was short lived as we had to change rooms 5(!!!!) times due to the rooms not being cleaned good enough. We found hair on the beds and on the bathroom floors, and the toilet was not even flushed. And not once did the receptionist call anyone to actually to look at the rooms we were given. So it is safe to say that there was not any professionalism shown by anyone working there. We ended up changing hotel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
