Clarion Hotel® The Pier

We have just enjoyed a wonderful 6 night stay at Clarion Pier from 9 to 15 January. This was a second stay for us - we stayed in August and extended our stay as we liked the hotel so much. Again we booked a twin room and our room requests were given - Alexsandra was super-helpful at check-in and even gave us a higher floor room because we love the outlook to the river and Gothenburg city, and it was my partner's special birthday. We feel completely welcomed and taken care of when we stay at this hotel. We would like to thank the reception staff for their hellos whenever they see us, and for going the extra mile for guests. In particular, Kajsa remembered us from our last stay and was so very kind, in particular when we unfortunately slept in on our first morning and she arranged for us to get breakfast even after breakfast time had finished! Thanks for our lovely chats Kajsa, you are a credit to the hotel! We would also like to thank Aleksandra and Frederic, both of whom were super helpful to us and provided excellent customer service! We ate in the hotel bar twice in the evening (as it was a bit too cold and icey outside to go back into town), again this was a great experience - fabulous and thoughtful service from Leonarda - thank you!! And we would also like to mention Alicia, who had just started working at the hotel when we stayed but again was so helpful and friendly. Thanks to everyone - and we will be back in the summer, looking forward to visiting the roof bar!

I stayed at the pier after visiting my family and a town nearby. I had a really relaxing time, both because of the view from the room and the bathtub. I also found the colors and design of the room very calming and it really help taking the pace down from the stressful Christmas. Thank you.

We were welcomed in a high service-oriented way, everything we asked was taken into consideration and action immediately. All the staff was very friendly, open and did the most they could in their hospitality role. Certainly a place to come back to! We will continue our trip to a cottage 120 km’s upnorth for some nature, peace and quietness, and with these first 2 days of our trip, we already feel unwinded and exciting for what comes next!

Really nice and modern hotell. Loved the gym and yoga room! perfect hotel for a conferance and the food was really good. Fei was not open during my stay, I would love to eat there, maybe next time! :)

Nice hotel with good hospitality at front desk. Breakfast is extensive and always replenished. Beds are good, bathroom comfy. The rooms are a bit dark since walls and ceiling have a dark colour. Location is good and quite close to ferries to downtown Göteborg. Area is still under construction. Local restaurants are mostly focussed on lunch (and closed in the evening) since this is a business area. Lindholmen foodmarket is closed in the summer so we really missed that experience (which is around the corner). Nice surprise was the rooftop bar that serves decent “bites” for the evening with a great view.
