Convenient location

When you stay at the hotel, you'll be within easy reach of everything that Gothenburg has to offer. By tram, it takes just 5 minutes to get to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Ullevi, Scandinavium, Liseberg, Universeum and the National Museum of World Culture. There is a stop conveniently located just outside the hotel. If you prefer, you can easily get around on foot – whatever you want to do in Gothenburg, feel free to ask at our reception and we will help you with tips and ideas.

166 bright and spacious hotel rooms

Clarion Collection Hotel Mektagonen prides itself on its warmth and personal service. The rooms range in size between 17-60 square metres. Most of our rooms have kitchens and some also have a sauna. If you stay in the hotel's deluxe rooms, you'll have access to a roof terrace. The close proximity to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Liseberg, makes this hotel the perfect choice for both business travellers and families.

Food and drinks

Breakfast, "fika" and an evening meal are served every day and are always included in your room rate. There is a café and lobby shop in the reception, where you can purchase a range of drinks, snacks and toiletries 24 hours a day. There is also a grocery store in the same building.

Exercise

If you feel like working up a sweat in a gym, you can go to Nordic Wellness Almedal, one of Gothenburg's largest gyms, located in the same building as the hotel. Hotel guests are welcome to use the gym facilities free of charge - please contact the reception for more information. Those of you who prefer exercising outdoors can go for a run on the nearby jogging trail.

Clarion Collection Hotel Mektagonen is an excellent choice for those of you looking for accommdation with a kitchen. Of our 166 rooms, 142 have a pantry and you can hire kitchen equipment from the reception for 300 SEK. Guests staying 5 nights or more can use our kitchen equipment free of charge.
