Great location, within minutes to St Olaf Square or Sentum, and the Cathedral. There are also a number of supermarkets and eateries nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly, and helped us to book a large taxi for our trip to the airport. The rooms are of an okay size, but the bathrooms are large. The rooms lack a safe, and the electrical points are placed in weird places like the floorboards, but there are many of them. The beds re comfortable and I found them too soft. But the room definitely needs more lights as it is very dark even in the daytime. Also, some of the doors have difficulty locking. In fact, one of the group had to switch rooms to a junior suite as they found their room door unlocked. Breakfast was very good and had wide options e.g. you could have hardboiled or sunny side up eggs with bacon, or the chef can whip up an omelette with ham and mushrooms. There were many choices of cereals, breads, meats and fruits. There was some street noise, also at night, as the tram stop is just outside. They also have automatic shutters, and this can cause some noise as they activate around 7 am. Overall, it is a good hotel in a great location.

Fast check in. I made two reservations. When checking in for my room, receptionist inform it is not ready. When my colleague came after me, a room was available (?). Room was OK, not noisy even thou was towards the street. Nr 520. Comfortable bed and pillows. No desk but a small table available for work. Good internet connection. Bathroom was too small and uncomfortable. Gym of difficult access but well equipped, Great if they can add some kettlebell. Breakfast was good.

Central location with warm and inviting rooms. I liked the decor…a little less sterile than many other hotels. Gym was great. Breakfast was good, but standard for the most part - does not beat the Clarion in Trondheim, but I like the rooms and location here better. I would definitely stay again!

The hotel is located close to the centre of Trondheim. It is clean with courteous staff. Breakfast was of decent quality. Working wi-fi. A nice touch is the provision of a help yourself fruit bowl in the vestibule.

Will keep this review short. The basics of our 3 night visit: very helpful staff, clean room, spacious enough, excellent breakfast. Good value and good location as well; easy to visit tourist attractions nearby.
