The Eppel Bar & Restaurant is one of several restaurants here at the Quality Hotel Sogndal. Go ahead and allow our talented chefs to treat you to a delicious culinary experience! Eppel is also a fantastic meeting place featuring a well-stocked bar with a good variety of bar snacks. The bar also features a great selection of international beverages, in addition to quality local brands such as Balder and Balholm. Choose from coffee drinks, cocktails, prosecco, minerate water and juices. After dinner, a run, a conference or a busy day of work, you can sit back and relax with a glass of your favourite tipple!
During the spring and summer, you can sit outside in the hotel garden offering magical views of the mountains and Sogndal river. You can conveniently order using a QR-code here. While the bartender prepares your drink, all you need to do is to soak up the stunning views! Eppel Bar is the natural meeting place for a refreshing drink and socialising. You can even enjoy a game of shuffleboard or billiards! Come on in (or out) to enjoy the lovely atmosphere!

Using only first-class ingredients and led by passionate chefs, we invite you to come and enjoy our exciting culinary experience, every day. If you love hamburgers you'll have to pinch yourself to check you're not dreaming at Vågal Burger & Gin, and for others we also serve classic dishes such as steak and vegetarian options. The rooms are appealing, with an informal and pleasant ambience to go with your meal. The same venue also contains the hotel bar, where you can choose from a varied bar menu with everything from the latest cocktails to locally-brewed beverages.

Do you have an early start? If so, we are more than happy to provide an “Early Bird” breakfast for you. Lunch is served upon prior request, but the reception always has a few alternatives available in case you’re feeling peckish!
