Historical meeting rooms
We have eight beautiful, historical meeting rooms available for private events. You'll find all our cultural venues on the third floor, including Krohgsalen featuring Per Krohgs fantastic ceiling frescos, the original director's office from the Oslo Light Works, as well as four bright control rooms. As indicated by the names of the meeting rooms, the interior design is inspired by people linked to the building's history and Norwegian Art Deco architecture. These meeting venues have everything you need for a successul event, including modern technical equipment.
The "Lysverket" Stage
Our alluring 200-seat gilded theatre harks back to the decadent 1930s with old Hollywood and Europe's grand opera houses. Picture a magnificent arched stage, stardust lighting and sunset lavender colours inspired by the Norwegian artist Harald Sohlberg's paintings of a mermaid appearing in the fjord in the moonlight. It is here we will host captivating performances including magic shows, live podcasts and cabaret performances. With a separate entrance behind the stage, a bar, bathrooms and a cloakroom, this amazing venue is ideal for private events such as film screenings, big launches and more. The "Lysverket" Stage has the wow-factor to add some sparkle to any event!
Sommerro Lounges
The Sommerro Lounges include a charming library, a cosy cinema and a magnificent stage inspired by Hollywood's Golden Age. All the spaces are available for private events and we can help you to tailor each venue to your specific needs, regardless if you're planning an intimate get-together or a big party.
