When you enter this place, is like you go into a different realm where you forget about all the trials and tribulations life brings. You forget yourself and immerse into quality food, exotic and exquisite cocktails, all these accompanied by live music. What a perfect place to be. The staff is friendly and amazing.

The room was tiny, cold and dark. The interior old-fashioned, and not in a cool retro manner, just ugly. I had hoped to enjoy the TAK,but that was not included in my booking and it was not possible to reserve time there during my short stay. If I had been made aware of the need for this extra reservation, I could have made it in advance. We hoped to eat dinner before our afternoon meeting, but the kitchen stopped serving at 3pm and doesn't open before 4pm. No information regarding this found on the website. Great to be aware of when planning a schedule, a quick bite at the hotel is not an option. The staff were friendly but very stiff and unnecessarily formal. All in all I was disappointed!

The hotel is amazing, a unique art déco style with fine details in everything. However, my review here is not just about the hotel (excellent), the service (excellent) not the food (excellent), it is basically about the BED! By far one of the best beds I have ever slept in (and I have had a bad back (and sleep) for years, nothing helps!). This bed was magic. I stayed at Sommerro in connection with a work seminar, and we were a bit over 100 pax there- the funny thing was that EVERYONE was talking about what a good nights sleep they have had, and the comfort of the beds. What were they made of? velvet? fairy-dust? clouds? Although I live just outside Oslo, I am still very much contemplating booking in, even if for one night, just re-experience that heavenly bed again, worth every penny!

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Sommerro! 🧡 Beautiful and spacious room with a cozy vibe. The breakfast was delucious and the straff is so friendly. i loved it, and will definitely be back here soon!

At Sommerro hotel in Oslo Sommerro is a new jewel or diamond position itself among the absolute top hotels in northern Europe. The stay can be summarized with the word “amazing”. Already at check-in the luxurious journey started and I was very nice welcomed with a superior room upgrade. The ambiance and the environment smells luxurious and very comfortable and that feeling stayed. You simply travel back in time at Sommerro to an era where luxury hotels offered true sensation. My bed was a new level of hotel and experience, basically the best and most cozy bed I ever had at hotel. Sommerro is pretty central close to the Oslo castle and main shopping street, maybe 1km from central station. Breakfast was awesome combination of a la carte and buffet, with orange and apple juices with exceptional quality. I already miss Sommerro and can truly recommend this new Oslo hotel, luxurious and vibrant stay. The izakaya rooftop bar was filled with people and the evening was great there.
