I've stayed here a few times the last year, and I still keep coming back. I think there is room to work on a few things, but overall I'm always happy after a stay here. Due to the pandemic, there are some restrictions in place at the hotel. I can't really compare it to other hotels I've stayed at due to this, but I think Farris Bad solves the issues that arises due to the risk of the virus in a good way. Farris Bad is in Larvik, on the seafront with fantastic view and a quiet atmosphere. Check in is always smooth, love the parking garage in the basement which makes it easy to park my car close by. Rooms are beautifully designed and some of the rooms have bathtubs and showers with floor to ceiling windows. Value for money I think the cheapest rooms are a bit overpriced, and I wish the hotel had more rooms that were larger. The superior and deluxe rooms could be bigger as well. Compared to other hotels you have very little space to move around on, storage etc. Breakfast is solid, but for a spa hotel of this calibre I would expect more healthy options and a bigger selection of juice, smoothies etc. The selection could be restricted due to the pandemic. The restaurant for dinner delivers a very nice experience, both ambiance and food is spot on. When they're allowed to serve alcohol the selection is broad, but due to regulations now during the pandemic alcohol serving is restricted much of the time. The spa is simply one of the best in Norway. It's big, spacious with most of the facilities you would expect and want. I wish there was an outside pool and a couple of more outside jacuzzis. We've had a couple of treatments in the spa, which have all been world class. As a Nordic Choice Platinum member I haven't really experienced many benefits at Farris Bad. A bit disappointing, but I can understand if Farris Bad have a more "restrictive" practice of benefits being a standalone hotel. Although the hotel might be rough around the edges in some places, I still keep coming back here for a nice relaxing weekend. I'll probably be back very soon!

Farris spa immediately gave a positive impression when you enter pleasant surroundings. The staff is very nice and the room was nice and clean. Covid measures were good and I felt safe all the time. There was access to antibac everywhere and everyone kept their distance. The spa department invited to relaxation and has many offers. The dinner was wonderfully good.

Wonderful spa. Idiotic parking system that gave us a parking ticket of NOK 600 and the whole system is outsourced to a different company so the staff can't assist you. When you pay thousands and thousands for a stay, this type of greed makes the whole experience sour.

The parking in the garage and across the road is handled by the property owner and I am sorry we were not able to do more for you in this case.
