You'll be staying right in the heart of Grimstad, just a short walk to the town's best shops, restaurants and cafés. You can also look forward to wonderful natural surroundings – take a stroll down to harbour area and soak up the lovely seaside atmosphere! There are plenty of cultural attractions nearby. Indeed Henrik Ibsen wrote his very first play Catalina here. Knut Hamsun also had a strong presence in the town, having written several books including, and he became world-famous in 1920 when he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his book "Markens Grøde" (Growth of the Soil).
