Location is super at the river. Drammen has been a Butifull city with very Good restaurants at the river. I had a Good pepperbeaf at Becks Brasseriet short time away from the Union Hotel. I like the area of Drammen very much.

Drammen is a cute little city with limited hotel options. This hotel is right in the city center. Loading in and out in front of the hotel is very difficult as there is no easy place to pull into so you can check in. Service is very nice. Desk clerks were kind and knowledgeable. The rooms were relatively good size and a spacious bathroom to shower in was appreciated. There is no maid service so you need to exchange towels at the front desk. If you are here for an extended stay be aware of this as you will not get any cleaning. The room was comfortable and I got a good night sleep. They are pet friendly which is always a help for me when I travel. Breakfast was ok - nothing special. Hot food was generally hot, with certain exceptions. The eggs were very poor tasting. Other items tasted just fine. It at least fueled my day and got me going. The parking at this hotel is atrocious. Parking is a very long distance away and you need to carry your luggage across streets and through a remote gravel parking lot.

A very nice and calm place to stay. Short distance to everything you need. A place for families and business. Very service minded employees. A lot of place to eat around the hotel and the breakfast at the hotel was very good.
