Conferences and meetings at
Quality Hotel Strand
With panoramic views of one of Norway's most beautiful areas, our friendly hotel has nine conference rooms and one of the largest spas in the country. It’s certainly not hard to see why our hotel is a popular location for conferences!
For guests looking to unwind after a long day of conferences, head to the Otium Spa with a spa lounge, pool, therapeutic baths and exclusive spa and health treatments. What better way to relax than with a massage or a dip in a cold therapeutic pool?
If a spa treatment is not your thing then visit our Big Horn Steakhouse that serves up, as its name suggests, juicy, tender steaks. Styled like a traditional US steakhouse, its concept is pretty simple but oh-so effective: high quality steaks at competitive prices. Cafe Pi is a trendy in-house eatery that has a menu packed with favourites from burgers to tasty sandwiches and salads. There’s always a full calendar of events put on here too, from quiz nights to live blues concerts. Saturday nights are definitely for dancing the night away, with a live DJ on hand to spin the tunes.Vitensenteret Innlandet is a short walk from the hotel. This science centre offers plenty of activities for visitors of all ages. Get your science on and compete against robots, build websites and even climb walls. There are several restaurants and eateries just a few minutes north from the hotel where guests can enjoy a meal or drink when out exploring the local area.
There are nine modern conference rooms, each fully equipped with brand new equipment including sound systems and projectors. Rooms are air–conditioned and all have access to complimentary WiFi, keeping you connected and concentrating.
Mustad is the largest of all our conference rooms, fitting up to 500 people. This room is fitted with a stage so is particularly good for large-scale presentations. The seating plan in the room can be arranged for whatever your event needs.
Niels Ødegaard, Mustad 1 and Mustad 2 are medium-sized conference rooms that can seat 70, 110 and 140 people respectively. Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Seating plans can be rearranged depending on the conference type.
Mjøsen is the smallest of our nine rooms, seating up to 16 people. This room is ideal for board meetings as well as classroom workshops, with a table and boardroom-style chairs. Notepads and pens are provided to jot down those moment of inspiration.
Snacks including fruits, pastries, ice cream and popcorn as well as coffee, tea and water are provided throughout the conference free of charge. These little snacks are the perfect things to nibble on for a boost of energy during the day.
