Clarion Collection Hotel Bastion is an Oslo hotel with its own character, unique design and personal atmosphere. Inspired by British boutique hotels, it's like a home-from-home on your travels.
The hotel is located in the Kvadraturen area, just a few minutes walk from Oslo's central station Oslo S, the fashionable Karl Johan avenue, and the Aker Brygge district. Read more about Oslo here.
We've put a great deal of thought into the rooms' interiors. Renovation of the hotel rooms was completed in the summer of 2009, and the design follows the style of trendy British boutique hotels. Some of the rooms have views of the new Opera House and the harbour area. One wing of the hotel contains our most luxurious rooms and suites. All the rooms in this wing have furniture and features from all over the world.
When Morten Mørch, the driving force behind Hotel Bastion, started it in the 1990s, he wanted to create one of the world's best hotels. To achieve that, he travelled all around the world and visited over 100 hotels in his quest for inspiration. The result is a hotel with a personal style and an elegant atmosphere.
You need never go hungry when you stay here. As a guest of the hotel, you'll get a good start to your day with a nutritious breakfast, and complimentary tea and coffee with something home-baked is always available in the afternoon. In the evenings we serve our guests a complimentary evening meal. Read more about evening meals and breakfast here.
