History meets innovation

Longyearbyen's Funktionærmessen has a long and successful history, serving as the favoured restaurant of officials of the mining company as they dined and soaked up the stunning views of the town and surrounding mountains. Extensively renovated in 2017, this excellent restaurant is known for its exceptional service, fresh ingredients, top class cuisine and fantastic vistas.

Wide selection of wines and champagnes

The carefully composed à la carte menu offers a range of delicious choices, inspired by international cuisine, with the restaurant's signature dishes – king crab and dry-aged Côte de Bœuf, an unmissable treat. The restaurant also provides a superb wine list with over 300 choices, with a cellar stocked with plenty of excellent vintages, including top class Bordeaux wines. What is more, the restaurant has probably the widest selection of Champagne available in Norway, with over 70 on offer!
