Clarion Collection® Hotel Drott

Friendly, good price, nice room, all the meals. I strongly recommend this hotel. Cosy and well situated

This is a lovely old hotel. It is in a great location. The room we had was very large and beautiful. We had a car and parking was very easy in a near by garage. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good. We had drinks in the bar and the little lady that works the bar went above and beyond to help us in our drink selection. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a single night on our way from Stockholm to Oslo. It is a good stopping point in between these cities and Karlstad itself is a pretty town, but small. The hotel room was clean and reasonable with good wifi and a good shower. There is a small bar in the hotel with friendly staff, making that a nice place to have a relaxing drink before dinner. We also had dinner at the hotel and while it was nothing special and served as a buffet, the food was wholesome and reasonably good. The included breakfast was a bit spare, but perhaps this reflected the fact that we were shooting for a very early start when we left.

A very pleasant stay! Nice and serviceminded people and espesially a marvellous respetionist named «Lillemor». So nice and kind and excellent in every way. Lovely food and good selections to every meal. The best hotell-bed to sleep in and really good tap water to drink from the bathroom as well. My best hotellexperience ever!

Imho Clarion Collection Drott deserved marks for all: staff, service, cleanness, location (right in the city centre and next to the train station),value for money (both breakfast and the evening meal included in the room price), focus on sustainability
