Hotel Brosundet

Perfect hotel that feels homely, pleasant and good service and an absolutely lovely breakfast. Clean and neat rooms with a good size, comfortable beds and great showers! Love that they use Sprekenhus in the bathroom. Have stayed here several times and will definitely return!

A lovely hotel in the heart of Alesund. Very friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The room was cosy and the overall feel was welcoming. We loved the lobby and enjoyed having a drink around the huge fireplace. Just the spot to be on a cold, winter’s evening. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything was pleasant in our stay. Quick and kind reception, the room according to expectations as shown on the booking site. Good quality breakfast with several options. They have a very cozzy lobby with a fireplace to have a drink. All good, no complaints

We visited hotel Brosundet in October for our delayed honeymoon! We were completely blown away by the fireplace alone to be honest - it’s such an amazing entrance to a hotel and we spent most afternoons and evenings just sat with a cuppa or glass of vino by the beautiful fire! Room were gorgeous and interiors all very typically Scandi and all very tasteful! We were lucky enough to visit at a very quiet time ( which we didn’t realise ) but highly recommend end of September / start of October if you like a bit of peace and quiet. We had dinner at their there restaurant one night which was absolutely stunning! We had the 7 course tasting meal which I highly recommend! The cafe is gorgeous ( we ate many cinnamon buns! 10/10 ). We had a lot of questions on things to do and in particular Marianne who was concierge was absolutely AMAZING, so kind & warm! Highly recommend booking in to the bath tubs! We ordered a glass of bubbly and really enjoyed looking out on to an amazing view! Also took a dip in the VERY cold sea which is a must! Beautiful quiet area but something to note is the cruise ships come in a couple of days a week and them days are rammed!!!! Would definitely recommend & will hopefully be able to come back some day! :) xx
