This hotel is located just outside of the downtown core in Vaxjo. It is an older hotel. Rooms are old and the walls paper thin. The breakfast that is included is also nothing special. It is your average continental and nothing more. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Not recommended for more then a business overnighter.

This hotel is a really good budget hotel if you can live with a somewhat outdated look and feel. The room and the beds were pretty OK but the bathroom did need renovation, especially the old toilet. The breakfast was good with freshly baked bread. The service friendly and we were allowed to check out later than contracted. The wi-fi worked great and the location is not super central but still fairly close to everything in Växjö. 8 min away with car you can e.g. visit the fantastic echo water tower.

We stayed here for two nights to explore the beautiful vaxjo area. The hotel is a bit old and some of the amenities need to be updated but the service was excellent and the rooms comfortable. The breakfast and dinners were good. The gym and sauna were in poor shape. The bikes they lent us were in bad condition also. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay while traveling but this is not a luxury getaway for longer stays.

Just for an overnigth stay

Easy to reach by car but a bit outside Växjö centrum. Boring both in- and outside. The room was dull and had one partly broken bed. Very bad insulation of the door, you heard everything from outside.…

This hotel is not new and fancy, but it is OK for a night or two. The hotel appears a bit worn on the outside and in the hallways, but the rooms are of a higher standard. The rooms are freshly painted, and the furniture and beds are fine – however, flat screen TV’s have not yet made it to this hotel. The bathrooms are NOT newly renovated, but work OK. When you check in, it is a bit “retro” to receive a key - not a keycard, but metal key, with a big metal tag to drag around in your pocket… The breakfast buffet is fine, and has everything you would expect. The hotel is located about two miles from the city centre, but close to the highways so getting to and from the hotel is easy. Sometime in the next few years it is going to need major renovations, or it will be totally outdated and run down. The pictures on the hotel website are reliable - the rooms look like the pictures show them. I would look at this hotel, if I needed at hotel in Växjö again because it was OK and the price was right.
