Quality Hotel™ Tønsberg

From the first meeting in the reseption and to the final goodbye, the overall feelig was friendly and professional. The location near the fjord and at the same time close to the city center, made this a great place to stay on a friday in february.

Great location on the brygge, very comfortable and our room was plenty spacioius with 2 beds, a good size bathroom, and room to move around (1 adult, 2 teens). Check in and check out were easy and the staff at the reception was quite friendly and helpful with information about the hotel and also where to charge our electric vehicle. They do have two charging spots in their garage, but there is also a public lot a few blocks away with many more charging stations. The breakfast was great - a huge selection and all very good. Water pressure is very good and no problems with adequate hot water in the room. The lobby is nice and can be accessed from the brygge or the street. We stayed in the main building, but if you are in the annex building, it is just steps from the main building. Our only issue was the noise coming from a restaurant/bar along the brygge late at night - maybe if you can request a room on the other side that wouldn't be an issue.

Nice hotel.... amazing location, surrounded with great restaurants......older part of building has a slower internet connectivity.... Nice breakfast with attentive staff.... smooth check in and check out.... Parking is located underneath hotel.

The music was so loud that it shook my room slightly. The staff managed to move us to a room on the opposite side of the hotel but if they had been sold out there would have been no way I could have slept through that even with earplugs. Because of that I can't recommend this or any other lodging in the near area. As for the hotel itself the front desk staff were polite and very helpful however housekeeping didn't clean my room or even bring towels. We did not have a do not disturb sign on the door and we were gone all day. Both rooms were clean when we checked in though with the exception of something spilled on the carpet in the first one. Breakfast was great! There was a large selection of items and it was kept very clean and well stocked. The breakfast staff was very attentive.A++ for the breakfast. As for the rooms themselves they were decent though a few areas need improvement. For one they were missing basic amenties such as a coffee pot clock, and phone. Also the pillows and mattress were quite uncomfortable. The latter was only a thin pad placed on the box spring.

Pleasant staff and very good service. Good facilities and good breakfast, however got food poisoning occurred on the last day. Cleaning has an improvement potential. The room needs maintenance and repairs, as much was broken and damaged due to wear and tear etc.
