The room itself brings to mind IKEA at its worst with the ambiance of a dorm room. There were few places to put things I was glad I had packing cubes in my suitcase; with two of us traveling together I surrendered the meager storage space to the spouse and lived out of my suitcase with the luggage rack as my sole surface. Our room was quite cold and not until we discovered that all the furniture against the wall was pressed up against the opening that allowed heat into the room that we were able to pull everything out from the wall and bring it up to a bearable temperature. Clever design that. A colleague complained that his room was far too warm, so clearly the problem was not universal.
The room was clean when we arrived but service was varied over a several day stay. One day the room was not made up at all and I had to request service. Sometimes towels were replaced, sometimes not. No amenities to speak of, be sure to bring your own products. The lobby was chilly but they put out lap blankets and served complimentary coffee and tea in the afternoon. One afternoon they served complimentary waffles, sweet.
Bottom line, no charm but pleasant staff, clean, and functional for a business trip.
