This is an extremely busy hotel, there is absolutely nothing positive about this hotel, but there aren't many choices in Kongsberg. This is a bare bone sleepover hotel, maybe it was intended to be. Carpet looks dirty but sheets appear to be ok. Breakfast was rush hour at the restaurant, it was ok, they at least cut the fruit into slices. I ordered a shrimp salad/sandwich for dinner. I don't know how they managed this, but the small shrimps were extremely chewy. I was so hungry so I tried to eat it. After chewing a while, my jaws were actually sore, how is that possible from those ity bity shrimp? Oh, someone in the kitchen decided to emtpy 1/2 jar of mayonnaise on the plate next to the shrimp. What a horrible experience. Wish I took a picture of that.

Hi Mei, I want to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. In fact we are now during easter renovating 43 rooms, and the carpets will be exchanged with hard wood floor. I've already talked to the head chef about the shrimp salad. Dear Sridhar, I am so sorry that you had to wait for check in. Our check in time is at 3 p.m. every day. We are always trying to get our guests in earlier if possible, but sometimes we have late check outs that delays the check in. This time it was in fact a late check out on this room type, and we also only have two rooms of this type. I hope you got to check in at last and that you will enjoy your stay with us.
