Quality Hotel™ Globe

I want to tell you about the food. The night we arrived, we had a quick hot meal with Swedish meatballs, those were ok. The lunch next day however, awful. We had a pollock with a coleslaw, a big amount of dressing, probably for the salad that was on the table. The fish was dry and didnt taste good. Then in the evening we had dinner. It was a disaster. For starters we had a big lump of ice cold mozzarella cheese, on top of tomatoes. Did not taste good. Then the main dish, lamb, it might have been good on its own, but it drowned in herbs and spices, and the dish had a very strong flavor of rosemary and a sharp other flavor, I couldnt eat that either. Then I had big hopes for the Tiramisu for dessert. Again, it was not good, and the texture and flavor was nothing near the italian dessert. The wine was good, and the waiter and the rest of the staff was very nice.. Another weird thing is that both restaurants did not have outside windows. My conclution is - I think you might get another chef, with a different pallet of taste. Hotel was nice, and room was nice, but eat elsewhere.

Reason for staying at this hotel was Madonna's concert at Tele 2 Arena. Hotel was located next to the Arena and had a great location. It was easy to get there by metro from the center of Stockholm. The hotel was worn out and had already seen its best days. Staff at the reception was matter-of-fact but not overly friendly. Dinner at the hotel was tasty and the staff was really good. Breakfast not special. Location was the solution for us and the price was an overpriced 260.00 at the time of Madonna's concert. Of course I understand the pricing due to the event.

The hotel was at a convenient location, just a few metro stops from the center. However, we were not quite satisfied with the service and the cleanliness, unfortunately. The breakfast was simple, but had everything you would want. And we really enjoyed the game area at the lobby.

The hotel is in a location near a metro station and a shopping centre. The rooms are large and equipped with accessories, such as coffee machine, iron. The breakfast is plentiful and served in a very large space The rooms need more maintenance, door inserts and bathroom had broken details (see pictures). The smell in the corridors is not pleasant. There is no clear communication from the staff about what is extra or what is included in the price.

This hotel is so funtional, like Families as conference or when you go to one concert or a play soccer game. Also you have a Mall in front. You will found fast all there. I recommend it when you visit Stockholm.
