This hotel is located a short walk from the Linköping city center next to a nice park. It looks a bit dated, but it is a good quality budget hotel. The room was clean and spacious (standard double). The staff are friendly and service minded. One of the breakfast staff took time to show my 4 year old to the toilets when she was brave enough to ask where they were. :) There was a good selection at breakfast including bacon, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, yogurts, fruit, juices etc. The only thing missing was pancakes! The chipped porcelain and dated and uninspiring breakfast room lowers the rating, however. On the plus side is the nice playroom with lots of toys for the kids and a library to hang out in.

The breakfast was good, but could have more fruits for Those Who usually dont eat breakfast. But the service was brilliant, everyone was helpfull and Nice!

Stayed here overnight on a trip from western Denmark to Stockholm. My room was clean, spacious and the items in the minibar was surprisingly cheap. The hotel is in two buildings, connected by a bridge. First time there, it can be rather difficult finding your room.

Old! Broken down and management did not seem to care much when I approached him with my stay & problems.He told me the hotel is old & they are "looking into" getting it renovated. I got to a very nice and clean updated looking front desk. The clerk was nice on check in, when I checked out the clerk was snobbish and could not get rid of me fast enough. The hotel is somewhat depressing because it is linked to a hospital and its is amaze to walking in. It took me about 10 minutes to find my room. The room was quit small, no a/c and it was super hot in the room. There was a good breeze out so I opened the broken window that opened on top of my bed! The window's seal was broken so I had to parts, no way to lock the window in place to have it just a little open. It was all open hovering over my bed or closed... The only way I could have the window open half way was to use the curtains as an anchor but by doing so I got less air in. Since I was on the 3rd floor I left the window open and went for a walk but when I came back to my room I realized fast how busy the street below was from now all the dirt and exhaust smell in my room. So want to or no the window HAD to be shut closed. The shower was ok but there walls and the glass shower partition either had blood on it or red mould. The bathroom door, was a pocked door that was missing the plastic covering where you stick fingers in to close the door. When I washed my hands I soon discovered that the water tap made a LOT of loud bbrrrrr noise when turning it off and it went on for about 10 seconds after. I did have a discount coupon to use at their resto but because of how the room looked like I decided that it maybe best to eat somewhere else. I was not told what numbers to call for front desk, nor for the resto, nor where the ice machine was. The information that was in the room had nothing really to do with the hotel other than a very dirty menu. When I checked out the woman was very rude and had nothing to say, I could have been a speck on the wall. The man standing behind me however had a much nicer greeting! I took pictures & emailed the manager. I got the following -that they are in negotiation to repair the hotel, he knows how bad it is.... when I told him this is something that should be told at time of booking or even on the site I was met with silence. I also said to him that repair for a window is easy to fix. I asked if I was placed in that room since I had a blue card member. He did not replied either nor did her extend a hand. If I would have know the state of the place I would have stayed at another hotel that was about 30$ more a night. The keys are old school, heck even the fire safety feature on my door was disabled and I also had no peep hole. Also mention the door being disabled to him and I was met with silence. The only good thing was the breakfast. If the room I had would have reflected any* quality I would have stayed there for dinner but I went outside of the hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even on a budget. Also my room was next to their laundry or storage and it was loud. I was awoken by 6am by the cars and ppl on the street. This would not have happened if the double window would have been repaired.
