For many, Hafjell is a winter destination with ski slopes and cross country. But Hafjell also offers a great range of summer activities.
We'll help you
Regardless of whether you visit us for an event, conference or holiday we are happy to help you find the right activities for you and your group. We have extensive local knowlege and are always keen to tell you about all the little gems in the area.
Take the gondola lift to the top.
Right by the hotel, there is a gondola lift which, easily and comfortably, takes you to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the view of Gudbrandsdalen whilst the gondola takes you 586 metres above sea level to the Moseter summit in just ten minutes. Once at the top, there is great terrain for both hiking and cycling, but the mountain also offers other events and activities as well as food outlets open throughout the summer.
Hunderfossen family park
Hunderfossen family park and Barnens gård, one of Norway's most popular travel destinations for families with children, is just three kilometres from the hotel. The park offers many activities – both indoor and outdoor – for children of all ages, such as an adventure ship, gold panning, rafts, trampolines, ice cream factory, adventure cave, tractor trips and face painting. There are also several food outlets so everyone will find something they like.
Lilleputthammer family park
Lilleputthammer is a miniature city and amusement park perfect for a family with children. Here, the children can drive a train, car, or ship; or go on the merry-go-round, roller coaster and free fall. In the park, you can also climb towers, do obstacle courses, jump on trampolines, go to the cinema, draw, build and play.
Hafjell Bike Park
Ski slopes don't just offer speed and excitement in the winter. Hafjell Bike Park has 14 slopes for bikes with a total of 25 kilometres. Anything from green to black slopes – based on the same markings as for alpine skiing – means that beginners and pros alike can enjoy the challenges of the park. The gondola lift and chair lift take you to the summit, from where you can enjoy 830 vertical metres of runs.
