Over the top....

This used to be a very nice hotel, but is in need of a renovation. Especially the hallways and some of the rooms seem to be very worn. On my last visit the cleanliness of the room also was below...

This used to be a very nice hotel, but is in need of a renovation. Especially the hallways and some of the rooms seem to be very worn. On my last visit the cleanliness of the room also was below standard. However, the breakfast is very good, and it starts early enough if you have an early flight. The standard of the room is not reflected in the room price, which is a bit high.

Secondly, I'm happy to inform you that the hotel will go through an almost complete renovation this summer. All the rooms and bathrooms in the "old" part of the hotel will be completely renovated, and also the hotel's public areas, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms will be fully renovated. Good for travelling due to proximity of the airport. Nice rooms and decent restaurant but no tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. The double bed doesn't come with a double duvet for some reason...

Rip-off even for Norway

I was completed shocked by some of the prices, I know this is Norway but even so! The room itself was not too excessive for an oil town, but it could do with a refit. Everything else was way over...

I was completed shocked by some of the prices, I know this is Norway but even so! The room itself was not too excessive for an oil town, but it could do with a refit. Everything else was way over priced, over £8 for a 0.4L glass of Carlsberg, £50 for a cheap supermarket bottle of wine, £25 for a small chicken breast with a bit of sauce. No coffee/tea making in the rooms, but an even more expensive mini-bar. I'm surprised they don't charge by the sheet for toilet paper! Convenient location for the airport, but watch out they will charge you for the shuttle bus!

A Good Hotel With A Great Breakfast

Stay here a few times every year and I believe it is a good hotel for a night or two if one wish to be near the airport. This last trip I had a Superior room with a newly renovate bathroom and water saving shower head (good initiative) the regular rooms are somewhat old and soon in need of an upgrade, but always very clean. The restaurant, reception and bar areas are in need of a touch up. The dinner served is really good and quality above average for the price range in Norway, it is great that they focus on local produce. Service in the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is one of the better hotel breakfasts I seen and beats all the other Choice Hotels I stayed in. Some of the bread was from a local bakery and the selection was huge! Yes, I do believe hotels should be an ambassador of local produced food, specially then they have an ambition to profile them self as environmentally friendly and with that comes a task to lessen the co2 footprint, and Quality Hotel Stavanger Airport are on the right course.
