Stayed here one night for a conference. The rooms were a bit small but very clean, and the bathrooms were in very good condition. I heard from someone else staying here that the rooms in the newly constructed part of the hotel was better. The food was okay. However, the dinner portions were relatively small (Although I guess this is more attributed to Norway than this hotel).

Good Clean Airport Hotel, Not So Good Wi-Fi

This is a good clean airport hotel if you just need an overnight stop. The room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the hair drier didn't work but reception were able to provide a replacement. The main problem was the Wi-Fi. Its supposed to be available in the rooms but my room was right at the end of the corridor and so I couldn't connect without walking back to the centre of the building which was far from convenient. They do a very good breakfast with plenty of selection - delicious!

Average airport hotel, small rooms and tiny beds, no toiletries, no stallite TV. Great breakfast buffet. Apart from a McDonalds within walking distance, no alternatives to eat out in the vicinity so it's a luck that the restaurant food is very tasty, albeit expensive (I guess average prices for Norway). Staff is very friendly and helpful, gym is accessible 24/7. WARNING: Shuttle service is not free and costs 70kr. (about 7.50€) and runs ONLY EVERY 30 MIN. Plan your trips accordingly!!

Nice hotel, but the stay is partly ruined by the lack of air condition/air ventilation

I stayed at Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen for four days in July 2016, when there was a heat wave here in Norway. The hotel has no air condition/air ventilation or climate control in the rooms, and when I entered my room, it felt like entering a sauna. There was more than 30 degrees Celsius inside, and opening the windows didn't help at all. It wasn't just hot, but the air quality was really bad, and the room smelt like an old closet. My first night was spent rolling back and forth in the bed, sweating like a maniac, with no sleep what so ever. What saved me was that I had brought a table fan, that I put in front of the window, getting some air circulation in the room, which made it livable in there, but not comfortable. I must say that I do expect hotels to have a satisfying indoor temperature, both in cold or warm periods, and the hotel can't expect people to bring their own fans (!). Norwegian summers usually aren't that warm, but that doesn't help much when you're visiting during a heat wave. Everyone who stayed there at the same time had the same problem, so the hotel definitely isn't the place to stay in warm periods. Apart from the heat, I had a nice stay, and the air quality and temperature was better in the rest of the hotel than in my room. The hotel is old, but they're doing a rebuild now, and I found that even though my room was quite old, it was clean and well-kept. I had a room on the ground floor with two single beds. The beds were extremely comfortable, and if it hadn't been for the heat, I would really have enjoyed the stay. There's an armchair, a desk and a regular chair and a TV in the room, in addition to a closet. There's no minibar, but they have something called "lounge 24", which is basically a huge minibar situated in the reception, which is open 24/7. The hotel has free parking for all guests right beside the hotel, so there was no problems finding a spot to park. It is situated right by the highway, but it also has a small forest nearby, where you can enjoy a quiet walk in the forest. There's transfer buses to the airport, so it's a great place to stay if you're heading for the airport. The staff is helpful and friendly, but during a few of the breakfasts, some of the food was missing, and it was never brought out. I e-mailed the hotel in advance concerning gluten free food, and I was told that there would always be gluten free alternatives, but there was only ONE day out of four where they had actually put out the gluten free bread, and I've seen a better selection at other hotels. Plain rice cakes gone moist and very, very dry bread packed in plastic really doesn't do it, so there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to gluten free food. Apart from that, there was a good selection for breakfast, with lots of alternatives when it comes to bread, spreads, meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, potatoes etc. What I missed was bacon - a good hotel should have bacon in the buffet! Another great thing is that the hotel allows dog. I brought mine, and it was a great hotel to bring your dog, particularly because of the forest situated nearby. It took less than two minutes to get out in the forest for a walk, and we enjoyed many nice walks in the forest.
