Quality Airport Hotel Dan

I was on may way to work and I was tired, I arrived at the hotel and it did not take many minutes to get a room, they found a nice room for me, I appreciate that a lot. I had a good night sleep and was well rested and checked out early morning, overall a very good night.

The hotel is a good 10 minutes walk from the airport down quiet residential streets. First impressions are good, there is a nice reception and lobby with lots of comfy seating. Compared to this the room was disappointingly shabby. There was a big stain on the carpet, the bathroom was tiny and there was no WiFi. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The wall-to-wall carpet in the room was broken and very dirty, it hasn't been changed after the hotel was built. The outlet was broken and hanging loosely. The bath tub was rusty. I haven't ever had this bad experience in a hotel and I stay around 90 nights in the hotels every year. The hotel is not even a 1 star hotel. I said to the receptionist about the terrible conditions of the room and he replied that the hotel is old and they have many rooms so it's very expensive to fix the rooms.

This was a reasonably priced hotel close to the airport, the check in was quick. There was no milk for the tea making facilities. I walked from the airport and it took about 15 minutes. I had a double bed but was given a single bed duvet.

Booked via BW for about 155$C per night for 4 nights. Arrived around 2 PM and room was ready. The staff were friendly and free glugg was available with small ginger cookies. Given my status with BW, i got a good upgrade to a rather big room with queen bed, work station, good bathroom, street view, good LCD TV. There is no fridge in the room, but guests can use the fridge in the lobby (there are plates, plastic utensils, and a microwave in the same area). Wifi was a bit week in the room. The lobby itself was very nice, and bright, lots of seating and big work area. I did not use the breakfast buffet. It looked decent (eggs, cold cuts, breads and pastries) but at 30$ , it was a bit pricey. 2 supermarkets within a minutes walk and a few restaurants made up for this. The gym in the basement is huge! It is an independant gym with loads of weight machines, bikes, threadmills, and ellipticals. The is no pool on premise. Some parking was available , seems to be pay parking Kastrup station is 5 minutes walk and there a few buses also that can bring you downtown. Please note this hotel no longer offers shuttle service since the pandemic (15 minutes walk to airport or just one stop on metro) would come back for sure.
