Our hotels in Stavanger
Eleven kilometres of coastline, waterfront restaurants, bars and pubs, narrow picturesque streets with white-painted wooden houses and café signs in bright, pastel colours. In the oil capital Stavanger, you will find the best of western nature, old maritime legacy and a well-kept, lively seaport. Four of our hotels are located in the heart of Stavanger centre, and they offer the city’s most spectacular roof-top terrace, hotel rooms in old boathouses and a roof-top Jacuzzi. For conferences, meetings and events we have several large hotels close to the city, by DnB Arena, in Sandnes and by Sola Lufthavn Stavanger. Whether you are here on holiday, business or just passing through, Stavanger has a lot to see and experience. The long, white beaches of Sola are fantastic for a picnic, swimming and surfing. You can easily spend an entire day here when the sun is out. Lysefjorden and well-known Preikestolen offer beautiful and exciting nature experiences. In the centre you can walk along the pier and have lunch at one of the city’s nice waterfront restaurants or stroll around the old town, Gamle Stavanger, which is Northern Europe’s best preserved wooden quarter.
