Very nice hotel with a good location. Big and clean room. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast with a lot to chose between. But both the scrambled eggs and the bacon were undercooked for ny taste. Over to the "but".... Why on earth did you put a window in the bathroom-wall? We were travelling with teenagers, an they found it very uncomfortable that we were able to watch them in the shower or on the toilet, doing number one or number two... Of course er did not look, but er could if er would. At least you could put up a courtain so we can chose to be exposed or not...

I have just stayed for 3 nights at this lovely central hotel. The rooms were clean and OK. I was attending a conference of over 200 and there were other events on the Monday. We all broke at about 4.30 and many went to the bar to network but here was only one bartender on duty! He was really nice but sunk very quickly. Over 30 minutes to get a three drinks. The 1 other guy was doing room service! We only had the one drink as the bar was swamped. I had booked dinner for myself and my wife in the hotel restaurant. Qt 7.30 we sat down and it was lovely and quite. Drinks and starter arrived and it was fine. However, at 8 the restaurant filled to capacity. I would guess over 100 covers. There were parties of 10 or more as well as other small groups from the conferences. However, there were only 3 waiting staff. Our main took 2 reminders and an hour to arrive. It arrived cold which is not good for a mixed grill to share -steak strips, chicken and chorizo. We called the waitress. She was lovely and apologetic. She took away the food. 20 minutes later she returned the skillet just had a few strips of steak on it. When this was questioned "Where is the rest of the dish?" she said that the chicken and chorizo would follow "as they take longer to cook". So you get the food in stages? The waitress was great. It was not her fault. It is management's fault for not having enough staff on duty when they book major conferences. Sad for Stockholm and sad for such a major hotel chain.

I will make sure to forward your comments and observations to the restaurant manager who will follow up on the matter in order to make sure we are not understaffed and have a good back up plan with taking in extrastaff on a short notice if one or several staff members are unable to work due to illness or other circumstances. Thought I would give this hotel a try since I was unable to stay at the Marriott. Wrong Choice! Service matters - Service matters - employees in the check in process seemed not to be happy to see anyone. Almost annoyed. Additionally, I spent quite a bit of money in the restaurant/bar only to be asked to vacate my seat for another group of individuals when there were plenty of seats available elsewhere. When we inquired as to why WE were being asked to move the waitress simply stated she was sorry and they wanted a seat in the bar area. The bar area was completely empty and there were others in other seats around us. I left after speaking to the young lady about it and she had no excuse but I am pretty sure I have an idea. Nontheless, Normally I stay at the Marriott Kungsholmen and I will return there. Cleanliness - When I checked in my room, it was nice to have a view of the park across the street but I noticed that my swivel chairs were dirty, the desk had some type of stain and the pillow was disgusting as well as its cover. I quickly removed it from my bed. Additionally, there was a foul odor in my bathroom on occasions when I would return from work. Lastly, the shower would backup while I was using it as if it has a clog in it. Quite disgusting if you ask me.

The price is steep, but the service in non-existent. The bed is not even made and it's impossible to sleep with this loud music. It's Monday today, after 11pm and the music is incredibly loud. I have meetings early in the morning tomorrow and was expecting a business hotel, not a night club.

Hi Thank you kindly for the review and feedback. I had a peak in the system and in order to find out which room you stayed in. I can see you stayed for 2 nights and that according to the system the hanger/sign for "not to clean your room and donated to UNICEF instead", we have had as a default on all of our rooms this month had not been removed. Perhaps this was a mistake? Yes, we did host a dinner with music last night in the banquet hall. Whenever we have dinner with music we should not allocate any guests who are not participating directly above the banquet hall. Please accept my sincere apologies for this.
