Stayed here for a business trip as I were attending a conference in the city. Checked in pretty late and as all the rooms were already taken, I got the last available one. The room I got was not properly cleaned with bathroom being especially unappealing as there were old towels and dirt marks on the walls after the previous guests. Called down and was not able to change room as there was not any available and the cleaner they sent up was not helpful at all which was probably the most frustrating thing. The rest of the stay went much better as I got to change the room the next day, and staff was very helpful in sorting that out. The breakfast buffet is also really great, one of the best I have been to with a wide variety of foods to choose from and the hotel has a great location and some good facilities although I did not have time to try them out.

We stayed at the Clarion Sign for 3 nights. we payed for a Superior Double which claims that most have views of the park and the city. Ours unfortunately had views of the dismal courtyard. We asked to change rooms and they said they were full that night but would swap rooms the following night. We were fine with that. The next day at reception Debbie remembered our arrangement. However, she made us feel that it was such an inconvenience for them and when we asked if they could arrange for our 2 small bag to be moved when the room was ready she claimed they they 'dont move our bags' and that it was our responsibility to bring them down to reception and have them checked in a bag room then to bring them up to the new room later when it was ready. what an unpleasant thing to have to do when youre away. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I have stayed at places that charge the same and have done everything to make us feel welcome comfortable. She should learn about how to treat customers. Generally people are there to have a good time and want things to run smoothly... she clearly saw we had our one year old with us and that moving bags would have been hard to do. In any case we ended up moving them and the cot we paid the hotel for to our new room. Rooms are ok, cleanliness average the breakfast was nothing special . I would recommend going elsewhere when paying that much if you want to be treated well and not made to feel stupid for asking them do their actual job. Traveled all the way from Australia only to be seriously disappointed by the level of customer service from this hotel. look elsewhere
