Comfort Hotel® Solna

I like the Comfort Hotels in Strawberry. No luxury, but all you need for a nice stay. An the Barception areas are normally nice, also at this hotel. The hotel is located in a nice area, though a bit distance from the city centre. Nearby you have a lot of restaurants, Friends arena, a nice lake and the biggest shopping centre in Sweden. I had an appartment. My booking was made in two steps, and the only way to have the same room the whole period was to say yes to an appartment. The appartment was nice with a kitchen, a sofa and a dining table. As I started this review, with absolutely no feeling of luxury. The only problem with the appartment was that it was not possible with late check out, according to the receptionist because the appartment was not owned by the hotel. A bit strange they didn't tell at check in, since they knew I was a platinum member and could have claimed this membership benefit. The breakfast is nice, but on day four I really felt that the variety wasn't to big. The dining hall had a nice atmosphere. The hotel does not have it's own parking. Shouldn't be a big problem, since the parking Arenagaraget is just nearby. Just be aware of a couple of things with this parking: 1) we came 23.05, and it was not open. So I had to park in the street, extremely expensive 2) you cannot pre pay , e.g. for 72 hours. So if you are planning to use your car in Stockholm the parking can be expensive, since you pay 320 SEK every time you drive out. I had planned to use the car twice a day (I normally don't, but due to the kind of stay I had this was the best choice), but then I would have paid 320 SEK three times a day. I have stayed at other Strawberry hotels with parking operated by an external where i has been possible to prepay, and then being able to drive out and in as many times as you want.

I stayed at Comfort Hotel Solna for two nights during an event at Friends Arena. Everything from check-in until I checked out went smoothly and the hotel offers a really good base for a Solna visit. The gym was bright, fresh and sufficiently well equipped and the breakfast met all wishes. Nice atmosphere, Nordic and stylish decor and a good vibe in the hotel as a whole.

Just the beds were very thin and not nice plus the stay over cleaning it’s like you guys don’t do that,buh everything else was okay,the location was perfect the breakfast was perfect too,everyone was friendly

My choice fell on a budget room. Unfortunately, the room was poorly lit due to the location of the window inside the hotel corridor. The lighting was also modest. Despite the availability of air conditioning in the room, trying to switch it to heating mode did not bring any effects - at least I did not notice any change in temperature. However, the rooms were very clean and the TV provided good sound quality and received all available channels. Hot water was available from the taps and breakfasts were served buffet style. The food was tasty and varied. As for the location, I would rate it 7/10. A bit far from the very center, especially if you plan to move around without a car.
