No cleaning / clean your own table!

We expected more from Stadshotellet. No cleaning of room. No new towels. Breakfast was a joke. No bread, no plates, one egg left, 30 minute before closing. You are suppose to clean your own table after breakfast!! Bar staff didn't glhave sufficient training to serve drinks. We will try The Wood Hotel next time.

Room with private sauna

Stayed in a larger room with a private sauna and liked my stay much more than previous times. Some things were also run-down, the furnishings were generally cheap and there were still no proper toiletries but I did appreciate the space and the sauna was great. Sadly the wine glasses in the room had not been cleaned for a long time, but otherwise it was clean and tidy. Friendly front desk staff and ok breakfast.

My wife and I recently spent a night at this hotel and really enjoyed the experience. Fortunately, we were able to get street parking very close to the hotel that wound up costing us very little because of the time we arrived. Our room looked like it was recently done over and it was very nice and included everything we needed. The hotel is located right off of the pedestrian mall and it was nice to get out and stroll along this venue. Staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely go back. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very good.

We initially had planed to spend two nights here, but I am so happy we just ended up with one! The room it self was nice enough, both clean and with a decent size, but there was no possibility to open a window, - and it got SO warm!! We found a small fan, but it did the same use as a fart in a storm.. The service was great and the breakfast lovely - but the poor sleeping quality unfortunately ruined the potential good experience. Good parking in the hotel garage.
