Clarion Hotel® Örebro

Today, it may seem environmentally smart not to renovate because the spirit of the times has caught up. The room was relatively well kept with good bed comfort and generous surfaces if you need to workBreakfast, well managed by the staff, as long as I find good bread and good toppings, which are available here.Like the educational work to reduce food waste.

Came in to the room and found a HUGE silverfish in the bed on the pillow. Went down to the reception with the information and got a new room on a different floor. Found two silverfish running around in the bathroom at the new room. When you see one, you can multiply it by a 100. Had to sleep with the lights on so they didn't come crawling on me and my children during the night. Checked the whole room, some hair and dust from other people. A lot in the cracks in the chair. But plus for vacuuming under the beds. The breakfast was amazing! Warm milk was nice. Really good bread, fruits and vegetables. Great for the kids too. Very good service and happy people working there. The training room is nice for the kids so they could use some energy. The pool was always occupied by people. So maybe put in another one or a time limit, since some was sitting in there for over 30 minutes. Even drinking by the pool, which is weird since people could spill beer and soda in the water. The location of the hotel was good and good parking option by the mall. The cleaning people did not clean the shower and it kind of looked like it was some kind of mold in the corner in the shower. The most negative was the silverfish which really ruined our stay. Had to freeze all our luggage when getting home and throw away many of our belongings since this is something you REALLY DO NOT want to bring home with you! Almost cancelled the whole trip and change hotel when we found out. Sorry, not going to stay here again because of this.

The reception staff was friendly. Nice hotel. The room has air conditioning. There was no hand shower. The location of the hotel is very good. Parking in the courtyard, not expensive. The breakfast was really good, everything was available. Spa department on the top floor (steam sauna, various showers, warm water pool, two roof terraces). Very good bed and sleep.

Very nice room, great location and clarions wonderful breakfast. We had a big room and because of crawling kids we we noticed it was a bit dusty and needed som spring cleaning:) But over all we had a great weekend!

My wife and I stayed two nights together with our 7-year old grand-daughter, to explore Örebro, not far from our home yet nearly unknown to us. All three of us were perfectly happy with the hotel, not least the young lady who was, for example, greeted by a unicorn drawing-book directly at the reception, also making enthusiastic use of the plentiful breakfast buffet. Car parking was very conveniently and securely available in the hotels enclosed back yard. Best of all, though, was the locations, right next to a great number of restaurants, a few hundred metres from the venerable castle and maybe a ten-minute walk to the City Garden and folklore museum "Wadköping", A very rewarding mini-vacation in all regards!
