The magnificent cathedral is almost as old as the city itself and Lund has featured prominently in Swedish history. The city of Malmö is just 15 minutes away by car and you can reach Copenhagen in less than an hour. Buses stop right outside the hotel and there is free parking by the hotel entrance.

Lund is a student-friendly city with a great range of popular bars and restaurants, as well as excellent shopping in and around Mårten Square. The square is also regularly filled with market stalls! There are many beautiful parks and green spaces in Lund, ideal for soaking up the sun in good weather. Those who love walking will also find a number of great routes through the city such as the 4km-long Höjeåstråket, which is a marked walk from Sankt Lars to Källby in southwestern Lund.
