Here at the Clarion Hotel Post, we offer our guests a well-filled breakfast buffet that is always included in the room rate. If you want to enjoy your breakfast in peace and quiet, we recommend you come to breakfast as early as possible, as most guests usually eat a late breakfast. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor.
In 2015, our brunch was selected by The Mirror as the world's best, something that we are of course extremely proud of. So, do make sure to come and try Gothenburg's biggest brunch! In addition to both hot and cold dishes, we also have a fantastic dessert buffet featuring goodies from our bakery. In addition to good food, you can look forward to a lovely atmosphere, music and friendly service every Saturday and Sunday.
You'll find the Norda restaurant right in the middle of the stunning former postal office building, nestled between high oak panels and beautiful chandeliers. Norda cleverly combines the wonderful produce that Sweden's west coast has to offer with North American culinary traditions. We have worked with Gothenburg local, Marcus Samuelsson, who has several successful restaurants in the United States, as our creative partner to create a truly spectacular concept. The ingredients do the talking here - even the most basic produce is transformed into stunning dishes by our talented chefs.
If you were to take a peek inside the kitchen ahead of service, you'd see fresh fish in brine solutions, deliveries of the very best sausages in town and plenty of veggies being sliced and trimmed. The head chef would be seen with (yet another) cup of coffee, cheerily announcing that the produce grown on the roof terrace really is fantastic! Think local food culture with an unexpected injection of global flavours, Manhattan-style - all put together under the watchful eye of Marcus Samuelsson as our chief creative inspiration.
The dining room is bathed in candlelight and adorned with impressive olive trees. As the night goes on, the chatter becomes louder and guests roar with laughter as the sommelier refills their glasses with a delicious bottle of wine from Oregon.

vRÅ - Sushi & raw food
At vRÅ the focus is on Scandinavian ingredients, combined with flavours from Japan. The ingredients are selected according to the season, and we offer tasting menus to give our guests an exceptional dining experience. The aim is to capture the exclusive feel behind the craftsmanship of the sushi and raw food, yet with a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere in the restaurant.
The wine cellar
In the large and rustic wine cellar there is a pleasant room in which we can accommodate groups of up to 12 people for those who prefer a more private setting. Norda's kitchen will create a menu just for you.
Terrassen – outdoor terrace (summer)
Welcome to the sunniest outdoor terrace in Gothenburg, on Drottningtorget in central Gothenburg! West-facing with sun until late evening, this is a perfect place for sun-worshippers, outdoor diners and connoisseurs during the summer. Food is served from lunchtime until late evening and there is a fresh mix of both classics and exciting new dishes. Take the opportunity to compose your own seafood platter with your own favourites such as oysters, crabs, mussels and prawns.
