No ordinary hotel restaurant
It’s a real pity when hotel restaurants are only available to hotel guests. As a hotel guest in a big city, you want to get the feel of the city, its flavours, its people and its essence. That's why many people go out into the city to find restaurants popular with the locals.
Here at the Clarion Hotel Post, we offer a broad, nutritious, tasty and filling breakfast buffet that is always included in the room rate. If you want to enjoy your breakfast in peace, we recommend you come to breakfast as early as possible, as most guests usually eat a late breakfast. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor.
In 2015, our brunch was selected by The Mirror magazine as the world's best, something that we are of course extremely proud of. Taste Gothenburg's biggest brunch! In addition to both hot and cold dishes, we also have a fantastic dessert buffet with goodies baked in our own bakery by our pastry chef Patrik Fredriksson. In addition to good food, we promise a nice atmosphere, music and warm smiles every Saturday and Sunday.
Norda – a new green look!
Previously Norda Bar & Grill, the hotel's restaurant on the second floor has received a green makeover! The design and concept agency Spik Studios has transformed Norda into a green oasis with beautiful art deco influences. Welcome to a restaurant where you not only enjoy organic food, but you eat food from a kitchen that still has strong influences from Manhattan, a vibrant melting pot of flavours! And of course, we have not forgotten where we are! The Swedish west coast is most definitely present in the menu, featuring the same classics, just a bit more green!

At the Clarion Hotel Post, we believe that a really good hotel restaurant is all about drawing the city's residents to the hotel. To achieve this, we have received help from Marcus Samuelsson, a Gothenburg local and one of the most successful chefs in the world. We asked him to create all our food and drink concepts.
vRÅ - Sushi & raw food
At vRÅ the focus is on Scandinavian ingredients, combined with flavours from Japan. The ingredients are selected according to the season, and we offer tasting menus to give our guests an exceptional dining experience. The goal is to capture the exclusive feel behind the craftsmanship of the sushi and raw food, yet with a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere in the restaurant.
The wine cellar
In the large and rustic wine cellar there is a pleasant room in which we can accommodate groups of up to 12 people for those who prefer a more private setting. Norda's kitchen will create a menu just for you.
Terrassen – outdoor terrace (summer)
Welcome to the sunniest outdoor terrace in Gothenburg, on Drottningtorget in central Gothenburg! West-facing with sun until late evening, this is a perfect place for sun-worshippers, outdoor diners and connoisseurs during the summer. Food is served from lunchtime until late evening and there is a fresh mix of both classics and exciting new dishes. Take the opportunity to compose your own seafood platter with your own favourites such as oysters, crabs, mussels and prawns.
