Quality Hotel™ Augustin

-Noisy room, limited sound isolation from the windows, and you could hear other doors slamming, and occupants in neighboring rooms. -lack of cleaning, did not receive any new bedding or towels for three days. No cleaner visited the room during my stay. There was also visible mold in the shower. -outdated and overused interior + great service in the reception when my initial room door was not functioning ant the quality of the breakfast was at a high standard.

I am not sure, that does the hotel have any worse room, and disturbed by street noises, than I have got on the 5. floor? The room does not have curtains at all (only relux). So impossible to make dark in the room in summer nights (when I haven't seen dark hour at all), if the window is totally open. And on a warm day you need to keep it totally open. When I arrived, there was a very much hot day in Trondheim, the window was closed of course, just to make the room as warm, as possible, it felt, liek a dry sauna for me. And on this very much hot summer day they prepared for me a winter blanket/quilt. When I checked out, they did not even ask how was my stay in the hotel, what I think about the place. Quality hotel, really? I have no idea why! The positive things were: the location is good, breakfast is also good and fair, staff was kind and helpful, when I had question. This hotel is probaly better in winters. But after my experience here, I would never stay here again!

Perfect central location, great breakfast. Close to a parking garage if you come by car. The room was not too large and it was a bit too hot in the room and the bathroom could use some renovation. We had a good albeit short stay.

Central location, 150 meters to the nearest stop for the bus from the airport. The room and bathroom were clean, and the conference facilities were okay. No luxury in the room though, no minibar or fridge. Toilet paper of a thin and rather poor quality. Very good breakfast. Lunch and dinner are available only for pre-booked groups. They had problems serving properly warm food for all guests while we were there, but the meat was quite good, modestly spiced. The house red wine, on the other hand, was served too warm. The blueberry pannacotta with fresh berries which we had for dessert one day was excellent. The reception doubles as a bar, with a limited selection, not a "feel good" place. To the conference rooms in the basement it is stairs only, otherwise lifts were okay. There are many restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.

Stayed here for one night as a couple. Common areas are of a good quality. We stayed in a "moderate" double room, that was more like a single room with a double bed squeezed in. Could only get in from one side and little room around it. On a minor note, the carpet in the public areas is hard to focus on. The breakfast was good if the furniture was laid out a bit like a school canteen. Parking is only available in public car parks, which are expensive.
