It was such a delight to stay in this hotel, specially with kids. The staff was very helpful and attentive, specially when we had a little medical issue It is a very small town but even then location was very convinient for the stay. An extra cot was provided in the room even though we didnt ask for one. The rooms were spacious and warm. It is highly recommended place to stay overall.

We stayed for a few nights in February on a Northern Lights trip. We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Very good location in central Tromso. Easy to access from the airport on a local bus. Breakfast and afternoon waffles were one of the highlights of this hotel. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here for work in February 2019 for 5 nights. Usually stay in the Clarion Aurora but was already fully booked along with most of Tromsø's hotels. Rooms were over NOK 2000 per night (over 200 GBP). Hotel looks modern but inside the decor and standard is a little dated. Car parking is not easy with an extremely steep entrance ramp followed by a very tight swing into one of the few parking spaces. Lift is small and constantly in use causing queues. The decor and room was aged and outdated but generally clean standard and comfy. My room was near to the lift so most people going to their rooms went past mine and was very noisy especially late and early when lots of tourists returned from Northern Lights sightseeing tours and other tourist stuff. Also the adjoining room must have had very thin walls as i could hear all conversations between the family beside me. I think my disappointment comes from the comparison with the Clarion Aurora where there is a free 3 course evening meal and a gym and jacuzzi\sauna and usually costs half the price. The breakfast was very good but there was very little seating compared to the number of possible guests and i had to take food to my room on more than one occasion due to lack of seating. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly welcoming and helpful during my stay. I pointed my frustrations out to the manager who welcomed me back and said they would like a second chance to change my mind.
