Hotel Christiania Teater

I chose this hotel because it has a minibar and kettle in the rooms; since I'm staying several days, that would allow me to keep snacks and have coffee without going out. The minibar does keep things cool (unlike the Radisson Blu) and the coffee is good. However, I booked a standard room which was supposed to have view to the courtyard; instead it has a view to the street.... but since they are doing renovations, what I get is a white plastic sheet one meter away from the window blocking the natural light and any view of anything. This morning I attempted to go to the gym, only to realise it is 10 minutes away... I should have checked, but honestly, it didn't occur to me. Apart from that, I couldn't use the shampoo for two days because the pump in the bottle was broken, and had to unscrew the light bulb to turn off one of the bedside lights. The interior is elegant, but I'd rather convenience and comfort.

Such a nice, small and quiet hotel in the middle of everything. Polite staff. Clean. Excellent, healthy breakfast. Ask the receptionist to show you the beautiful theatre hidden behind the lobby bar. We stayed in a big deluxe room with two windows facing a small inner yard which assured silence despite the location in the city center.

Lovely room, comfortable and well thought out with good shower and mattress; warm welcome at reception; good spread at breakfast. That's all you need to know really but now I have to add some more pointless words to get to the minimum number of characters!

Really nice hotel in the middle of Oslo. Nearby almost everything! Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Will recommend 10/10. The room I had were tidy and very nice. The bathroom was stylish and clean. Look forward to taking the elevator!

Since my first stay a couple of years ago, I have booked this wonderful hotel for all my businesstrips to Oslo. The hotel has a great location, as it is close to the train station (airport train and under ground) and is within walking distance to almost "everything". The rooms has a good size, and the beds are devine. I really love that there is a coffe machnie in the room. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they serve the most delicious breakfast.
