The kitchen at Quality Hotel Skjærgården focuses on quality produce from the surrounding areas.
Local and fresh produce
We put a lot of effort into finding local produce for our cooking and we use this to cook tasty and healthy food. The hotel is by the beach with the sea right next door and we use this to our advantage in our cooking. This includes being able to offer fresh fish on the menu every day.
Prawns on the terrace
In the summer, you can enjoy fresh prawns caught just outside our own front door. If you ask us, the prawns themselves are reason enough to visit Langesund. Shell them, enjoy the roe and put the rest on a slice of fresh bread, squeeze a slice of lemon, close your eyes and just enjoy the delicate flavours in the summer sun.
On our veranda, you can sit in comfort and choose to enjoy your food outside too. In the summer, we have BBQ once a week when we move the whole kitchen outside. Please contact us for more information.
Christer Beren's menu of discovery
In partnership with the culinary and wine expert Christer Berens, chefs from Quality Resorts have created a wonderful and inspiring food and wine menu for events and conferences. The menu consists of, among other things, halibut cooked in herbs, spring chicken with pancetta and candied strawberries.
