Clarion Collection® Hotel Kongsberg

Brand new hotel with fantastic service! The food is also very good, with a large breakfast, afternoon snack and evening meal included in the stay. Six minutes' drive to the ski resort, and parking with charging facilities in the basement.

Great hotel, functional, near the train station. Breakfast is great and they provide also a light dinner MON-FRI from 6pm to 8pm (menu is fixed for each weekday). Rooms are not very big, but they are extremely comffortable. Additonally, the provided amenities are of very good quality. Finally is worth mentioned that the restaurant on the 11th floor provides a great view and some fantastic food, even though their menu choice is quite limited.

High standard in reception and rooms. Top service. Great location by the train station. Great breakfast. Fika (light sweet lunch) and kveldsmat (light dinner) are super good, enough to make to make you full and totally free of charge. Recommended!

Excellent hotel, great service, food of a very high standard and central location, rooftop bar excellent, with great views, rooms very comfortable, only thing missing is in room storage for clothes, as no drawers.

Modern rooms, comfortable bed, nice and decorative public areas. Good selection at breakfast. Also offers a complimentary evening meal (one day we had chicken, the other white fish). Friendly staff, some who knows the area better than others, but for leisure there’s not too much to do in downtown Kongsberg. The city probably doesn’t count on tourism as there are no buses that run to the silver mines on weekends, for instance, but the hotel was superb in arranging a ride. There’s a bar next to the reception, relaxed atmosphere. Also a bar at the great rooftop terrace. No Norwegian beers on tap. Prices start at 98NOK. If going to Kongsberg again, I would definitely stay here.
