Lily Country Club

We spent the last 2 nights of our winter vacation here with my kids, my niece and my friends with their families. It was actually our second time to stay in this hotel. We were also here 2 years ago celebrating my birthday and it was really a fantastic experience. We had to travel by train this time but it was not a good idea as the location is far from the bus stops and we had to walk on the icy roads. I wish the hotel had their own bus shuttle. So instead of going further we had to wait for my friend to pick us up. Good thing there was a gas station nearby where we could stay for the meantime. But anyway, we enjoyed our stay esp the kids who enjoyed most of the SPA time ( which has to be booked in advance and allowed to stay for 90 mins) , movie and game consoles and other activities for the kids. We did not book our dinner in advance so it was terrible waiting to get an available seats and since we were too many we were not accommodated . Make sure next time to book in advance. We had to wait a long time for our food , but they apologize anyway and we got a complimentary drink . I would like to commend the waiter at the restaurant who was accommodating us the whole time we were there. I couldn't remember exactly his name but he was so friendly and offered such an exemplary service. He even surprised me with a birthday cake when i mentioned that my birthday is the following day. It made my day so special. We will probably go back here.

Lily Country Club is beautiful. The location is amazing. The building is really nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is exceptional. The food and drinks are delicious. Everything was perfect. Amazing place to stay and dine.

The hotel is new and clean, with modern but small rooms. The spa is very small and you will need to book spa-time in advance, and if you don’t, you will get your 90 minutes when and if they have a free spot, but it can be the next day as it happened to us.Nothing to do in the neighborhood when it’s cold and snowing outside, Oslo is at 30 minutes drive.

Nice hotel, nice rooms, nice Spa, fantastic food, but terrible service. Booked table at 20.15. Had to wait 40 minutes to be seated in the restaurant. It took over 3 hours to be served a pre-booked dinner. More or less the whole evening was gone before we could enter the bar to celebrate our two celebrants...At Lilibeth bar the service got insultingly worse. We called it the day after one drink! The fantastic food (dinner) and the nice staff at the breakfast saved you up for two stars

Superb hotel. Very friendly staff. The room was fantastic, very clean and the perfect size. Shower was brilliant. Food in the restaurant was fantastic! And the bar staff were more than capable of pouring you the perfect drink. If only I knew the brand of shower gel, shampoo and hand cream they have in the room so I could purchase it!! I’ll be back to stay for sure! Thank you
