Bodo is located on a peninsula along the coast of Northern Norway and offers magnificent natural experiences. Go kayaking, relax on a boat or fish in Saltstraumen, the world's strongest tidal stream. The popular tourist attractions, Luftfartsmuseet (the Aviation Museum) and Galleri Bodøgaard (the Bodøgaard Gallery) are both within comfortable distance from all of our hotels. Bodø Airport is just a few minutes away from the city centre, which makes it easy to get to and from this popular destination. 

Recharging or exercise has never been easier

After a long day, it can feel extra rewarding to stretch out your body. Most of our hotels have their own training facility, free of charge for hotel guests. However, Clarion Collection® Hotel Bodø has not. Instead they offer all hotel guests a discount of the entrance fee to the Rapida Balance gym, which is located across the street. If you'd rather explore the city on a walk or run, just ask our receptionists and they will be happy to help you to a nice route in the neighbourhood. 

Culture, Nature and History in beautiful Bodø

Bodo is a lively city and also one of the fastest growing cities in the country. In the city you will find art and crafts in typical Northern Norway style but also modern concerts and tasteful restaurants. A visit to the island of Kjærringøy takes you back in time. The island has beautiful beaches and high mountain peaks and is one of Norway's best-preserved 19th-century trading venues. With its geographical location, Bodø also has good conditions for experiencing amazing natural phenomena. The city is about nine miles north of the polar circle and has midnight sun from 4th June to 8th July. If you plan your visit in the wintertime you might get a glimpse of the Northern lights.
