Comfort Hotel® Bergen

Easy car paking not far away. Hotel placed in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to many sights,and restaurants. The breakfast was good exept that ghere was no bacon. Friendly staff,outstanding service.

All-in-all, a solid choice for a visit to Bergen. Good location, reasonable pricing, a walled-off shower (that doesn’t flood the entire bathroom), excellent heating (a rarerity in European hotels nowadays) and not-uncomfy furniture. That said, it was still a cramped room with lousy water pressure, that would benefit from a deep-clean.

A rather sparse Hotel with very basic rooms. The free breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly. This would rate as a 2 to 3 star Hotel. Those who are used to North American standards may not like this property.

The hotel facilities and room are just ok. Breakfast was pretty typical and average compare with other hotels that we have stayed in our 16-day Norway trip (Thon hotel Solvaer has the best breakfast selection and ambience). Ruth is the front desk receptionist that helped us checked in and she is incredibly helpful, friendly and went the extra mile for helping me to find a parking space near by (the hotel on-site parking was full that night). She told me to download the "Easy Park" app and showed me how to use it. She even walked to the parking space (while I was driving to follow her, although it is not far from the hotel) Ruth is always pleasant, courteous and helpful when I talked to her. Ruth is a great asset to the hotel!

This is my first time writing a review about a hotel but it was too terrible that I decided to share my bad experience with others. Rooms at the hotel are very very small. Staff (at the reception) isn’t helpful and give poor excuses. They don’t even listen. Their only answer is “no, we can’t”. They don’t respect their guests who came from faraway to enjoy their holiday :( It is far from the center. Service is bad. Bathroom isn’t clean.
