Kitchen & Table is Clarion's new restaurant concept, by master chef Marcus Samuelsson. The restaurant opened in 2013, and with its fantastic location in central Bergen, has been a success ever since.
Kitchen & Table
See you soon at Kitchen & Table – our new restaurant! The Swedish master chef Marcus Samuelsson, based in New York, decided to bring Manhattan's international flavours to Scandinavia and combined them with local ingredients. Marcus Samuelsson has catered for the Swedish royal family at his Red Rooster restaurant, and cooked with Michelle Obama in the TV programme Good Morning America. His taste sensations have now arrived in Bergen and Clarion Hotel Admiral.
Tradition with a twist
Kitchen & Table Bergen prepares traditional dishes with a twist. We use as many local Bergen ingredients as we can and our main focus is for the ingredients to be of the highest quality. The menu is updated and changed seasonally, but we make sure that meat, fish and vegetarian choices are always available. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, we will naturally take these into account.
We serve a large breakfast buffet every morning, with everything that a good breakfast should contain. Naturally, the food is cooked from scratch with as many organic ingredients as possible, and we also offer hypoallergenic options.
Terrace with a view
With the weather on your side, what could be better than breakfast and dinner out on the terrace, right over the water? The mountains, pier and passing boats are your view while you enjoy your morning coffee or meal.
Palm oil-free food
Clarion Hotel Royal Admiral is a palm oil-free hotel, which means we have eliminated the use of palm oil in our food. Palm oil is one of the unhealthiest vegetable oils available, and production leads to the destruction of rainforests, which in turn threatens the environment and the animal world. Clarion Hotels is the first hotel chain in Europe to completely eliminate palm oil from its food.
