A new classic
We're not called Edvard Grieg for nothing. Just like our name, we're local yet international, cutting-edge yet classic, and also very proud to be part of Bergen. With a newly renovated hotel building, adding 223 newly renovated rooms in 2015 to the 150 existing rooms, a gym with city and mountain views, The Social – Bar & Bistro and above all, Western Norway's biggest conference centre, we can accommodate all kinds of guests and events.

Our conference centre is spread over two floors and guests can look forward to stunning views and unique interior design here. Bright and airy lobby, restaurant and terraces
The first thing you'll see when you arrive is the beautiful lobby. With its impressive ceiling height, lovely seating area, large works of art and metre-high plants, you'll immediately be drawn in to this a wonderfully relaxing space. The Social – Bar & Bistro can also be found in the lobby, and guests can come here for delicious food and drink, and a game of shuffleboard and table football. Outside the restaurant and bar we also have two large terraces where you can eat and drink in fine weather. The lobby area also features Lounge 24 (snack shop), a break-out area for conferences and three PCs that our guests are welcome to use free of charge.

Our spacious family rooms (35 sqm) alone are reason enough to choose this hotel! And there's lots to see and do in Bergen, with a range of sights and attractions just a short drive away including the Rush trampoline park, the Leo's Lekeland adventure playground, bowling, the Vannkanten waterpark and the "Høyt & Lavt" climbing centre. We're also more than happy to guide you to the best beaches and hiking routes in the area.
During the summer, the hotel is even more family-friendly with a welcome package for kids, a playroom, bathrobes for kids in family rooms, a kids menu in the restaurant and a plenty of activities. During half-terms, we have welcome packages for kids, tables for drawing in the restaurant, as well as a special Q-zone with shuffleboard, table football and boardgames.
Surrounding area
Going on holiday? The Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg is located in Sandsli, close to Bergen Flesland Airport, and local places of interest include Troldhaugen, the childhood home of Composer Edvard Grieg, and Fana Golf Course. The views of the fjords and the mountains from the hotel windows are stunning, and the largest shopping centre in Bergen is also nearby. Exercise above the mountain village
On the top floor of our hotel, we have a brand new gym offering magnificent views as far as the eye can see, both to the east and to the west. So, this is a great place to rejuvenate your body and soul! There are a range of exciting sporting activities in the area including squash, padletennis and jogging trails.
