At the end of the day you may want to visit our relaxation room, which includes a pool and a 24/7 gym. Did you know that Säffle is Sweden's youngest city? Säffle did not obtain its city status until 1951. Säffle is located in the southern part of Värmland and close to both the county of Dalsland and the Swedish west coast. Åmål is only 20 km away and the city of Karlstad is on a 45-minute distance by car. You can get to Gothenburg within 2 hours by train.

When you are in Säffle, you will get a great sense of being close to water, as both the river Byälven and Säffle Canal (built in 1837) runs through the city. At the end of the day, you may want to stroll along the water and go fishing from its banks. Sit down for a coffee and watch the city pass by or go for a forest walk or enjoy a boat trip in the Lurö archipelago. Säffle is the home for Viking Olof Trätälja's barrowing site, other historical remains and a uniquely well-kept architecture from the 50s and 60s.
