Karlskrona is a picturesque city with charm and history - just like our hotel. With its glass facade, Clarion Collection Hotel Carlscrona has become a landmark in the city. The area, including the restaurant, was originally a warehouse, used by the local merchants. The hotel houses many artefacts, such as trunks and paintings of the city's founder - Karl XI.

There are two meeting rooms at Clarion Collection Hotel Carlscrona, well suited for a small board meeting, workshop or conference. We are happy to assist you with all your food and beverage requirements, should it be a simple cup of coffee or lunch arrangements for the whole group.

Karlskrona features Sweden's most southerly-located archipelago with 1.650 islands and islets. The local tourist attractions generally have a maritime theme. Karlskrona was founded in 1680, which is also the year it saw the arrival of the Swedish Naval Base. Sweden's national navy museum - The Maritime Museum of Karlskrona - is well worth a visit. This well-kept naval city is heritage listed by UNESCO, so make sure to wander around and experience it fully. If you visit in summer, a ferry excursion in the archipelago is a must and you should try and make it to one of the many bays for a swim. Ocean fishing is popular.
