The Clarion Collection Hotel Grand Olav is so close to the Olavshallen concert hall, the many musicians that have stayed here fondly refer to it as 'backstage'. We're right in the cultural heart of the city and a popular choice with local artists.

Our hotel has been part of the history of the area for decades. Originally built in 1989, we've played host to numerous performers over the years. Our guests have included Postgirobygget, Åge Alexandersen and international names like Pavarotti.

Work and relax in style at Clarion Collection Hotel Grand Olav. Our sleek and contemporary hotel bar is the perfect place to mingle with fellow delegates if you’re here for an event or conference. You're likely to meet some of the local artists and musicians, too, which is sure to inspire you. All our guests are treated to a complimentary breakfast, afternoon sweets – including fresh fruit and soft pancakes – and a three-course evening meal. You can also use the hotel's free WiFi to stay in touch with the family or keep up with the markets while you’re away. If you want to bring your favourite pet along for the ride, they are more than welcome to stay with us for just 250 NOK per stay.

Once the day's business is finished, don’t miss the chance to experience the buzz of our hotel's surroundings.
