The hotel history dates back to 1889. Although the design was updated in 2001, we have kept the original look as much as possible. Our excellent location and tasty cuisine makes the perfect setting for conferences, meetings or networking events.

Located between Oslo and Bergen, Quality Hotel™ Vøringfoss sits nestled at the base of Sandfloegga mountain in Hardangervidda National Park and right on the banks of the Hardangerfjord. There is plenty to see once your work event is done.

 

We pride ourselves on sourcing only the freshest local produce, with our chefs quality certified to serve up our 'Hardanger Menu'. You can delve into these delicate flavours at either of our restaurants, Hardangerfjord and Bestastovo. In the evening, wind down with a drink in our Fossatrommobar.

After a long day of meetings, there's nothing better than simply wandering along the quay at sunset – apart from taking in the mesmerising sight of Vøringsfossen itself, which the hotel is named after. If you're staying with us for a little while, we highly encourage you to take the trip to see these cascading falls, which have a free fall of 145 metres. The falls themselves are also a staggering 182 metres high. They're only 20 km from the hotel, just off highway 7. The local trails that run along and up the nearby slopes of Sandfloegga mountain are home to some of the region’s fascinating animals and plants.
