Comfort Hotel® Jazz

This property desperately needs a complete refurbishment- and if they aren’t going to do something about the ventilation of the rooms- they need to make the city close the passing road for any traffic and make the bars and restaurants close earlier- because it is really hard to sleep.

Very nice staff. The room was very small, and difficult for two to move at the same time. The breakfast was disappointing. Little to choose from. Ok location and great with a supermarket right next door.

I have no trust in Comfort Hotel and it doesn't matter if you use them in Sweden or Norway it always dirty and something is broken. It maybe has a slightly lower price but then again you notice why when one stays at this hotel. Poor service, dirty and broken hotel rooms. I strongly recommend everyone one that is looking for good service and quality hotel rooms to stay far away. I am not a fan of air bnb but is I now have to make a choice between comfort hotel and air bnb then air bnb it is. If there is any other hotel close by the I recommend you look into that. After staying at this hotel it was the last chance I gave comfort. It is overrated, "hipster" cool hotel that thinks on the environment but one could just wish this was true all the way. But as I realized much of it is not so and many that work for comfort are not qualified for the job they do.

Our room was in another building. The elevator was tiny. There was no hot water at check-in (10:30pm) so we had to walk back to the main building to shower in the sauna room. We were also asked to bring our own big towels! No apology or compensation. Asked for a double bed but was given a room with two single beds. Basically a fancy hostel rather than a hotel. My advice, steer clear of this hotel. Better hotels are just around the corner.

I stayed a Saturday night at Comfort Jazz Borås on my business trip. Being a regular at Comfort Göteborg (I stay there 30-40 nights a year) and being a Nordic Choice Club PLATINUM member (60+ nights a year), I thought I could expect a certain standard from any Nordic Choice hotel. Comfort Jazz, however, turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time. The check-in staff started by stating that the hotel was fully booked and that they couldn’t upgrade me more than one room category. I suppose that it was meant as “Hello and welcome! I can see you’re a Platinum member, so I’ve upgraded you one category.” but since it was stated as something negative, it felt very strange. No other services were offered, such as a free newspaper or mineral water. The check-in experience, however, was minor compared to the lack of order and seemingly understaffed night personnel. The entire hotel was dominated by a large group of young ultra right wing guests. There was running, drinking and slamming of doors all night long in the hotel corridors. In the morning, in the breakfast room, it felt as if I was forced to be a part of a neo nazi camp. A most unpleasant experience.
